RCEP Implementation Two Years Review
The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) has been two years since its full implementation. As the world's largest free trade agreement, RCEP covers 15 member countries in Asia-Pacific, with population accounting for about 30% of the global total and GDP accounting for about 30% of the global total.
Tariff Reduction Dividends Continuously Released
Under the RCEP framework, more than 90% of goods trade between member countries will eventually achieve zero tariffs. Over the two years, tariff reduction dividends have been continuously released, and intra-regional trade volume continues to grow.
Trade Facilitation Level Improvement
RCEP promotes the unification of trade facilitation measures such as customs procedures, inspection and quarantine, and technical standards, significantly reducing cross-border trade costs for enterprises and improving trade efficiency.
Industry Chain Integration Accelerates
RCEP rules of origin accumulation promote regional industry chain integration, allowing enterprises to more flexibly allocate production factors and optimize regional industrial layout.
SMEs Benefit Significantly
RCEP provides more market access opportunities and trade facilitation for SMEs, helping them better participate in regional value chain division of labor.
